Hello America
Aug. 17th, 2022 05:48 pmWriting prompt; Word: chance.
This was Tordis' chance to possibly make it big and further his career into the world of music. The Ziggy Stardust tour was too good an oppertunity to pass up, especially now that Hjalmar, his older brother, had invited him onto the tour too. Ragnar had travelled to LA only a week or so ago and now the youngest Falkenberg brother was flying to America.
Tordis wanted to do this because he hadn't even formed a band yet and meeting other musicians would surely help build connections and point him on the right path.
The young singer now stepping off the plane feeling the heat hit him as he walked down the alighting steps and onto LA soil. It was so hot here in LA compared to back home! The young man slinging his bag across his shoulder hailing a taxi down so that he could join his brothers at the hotel where they were staying. Something about a tour bus being parked up in the lot had been mentioned. Hjalmar had said it was how the huge tour travelled about across America. Over forty or so people.

Half an hour later Tordis was stepping into the hotel lobby, hoping to see some musicians around. Rock stars being crazy or drunk or whatever else. Tordis knew of the scene and felt slightly nervous at meeting strangers but would soon blend in due to his friendly demeanour. Dressed in a floral shirt and tight silken pants the boy looked feminine along with his glittery eyeshadow and painted nails.
